Over six weeks passed from the time of accepting first orders and Apple has already started shipping the 18-core iMac Pro to customers in the United States. It is claimed that first customers got their orders delivered starting with the Tuesday, February 6. Many forum users alerted that their shipping progress are on the go now.
Speaking of prices, 18-core iMac Pro configurations can be bought for $7,399 in the US. However, if you choose fully equipped tech specs with the powerful workstation, the price will be higher, approximately $13,199.
Apple stated that the delivery time is about 6-8 weeks and this process has started in the early February. There is no confirmed information whether 14-core models still shipping this time.
It should also be mentioned that there are also other iMac Pro versions available, including 8-core and 10-core configurations. These models started their shipping in December, and the price is about $4,999. Micro Center offers also $1,000 off speaking about the base model.
In the early January, some customers uploaded the information about 18-core iMac delivery. However, in follow-up letters, Apple company said it was an error. However, starting with the February, all orders are shipped taking into account the priorities of placing order time.
