Composite technology is a technology that uses materials that are difficult or impossible to produce by any standard of what you might consider “modern.” It essentially takes old materials and makes them new and new again, by taking the old material and combining it with the new. When you make things with composite technology, you can make them that are extremely strong, lightweight, and have a high surface-to-volume ratio. But it seems to have been a bit of a flop. Since its initial use, many have pointed out that composite technology hasn’t made a lot of money due to its “high value” and lack of commercial use. Many have also pointed out the lack of a market for the material. These are valid criticisms, but I would add that the lack of a market is a good thing. We don’t have to worry about a shortage of materials any more.

In fact, most of the current companies I know don’t have a market for composite technology. They do have some niche fields such as painting, but I would not take it to be the perfect market for the technology. It would be nice to have a market for those fields, but it is the ones that do the most damage to the industry.

It would be great if a market for that technology existed. But it seems that our industry, as a whole, has become so greedy that no market exists for it.

First, composites are more a surface coating than a material. When I say a material, I mean a material that can be painted over and over again. Composite is a very generic term. The most common examples are: glass, metals, plastics, wood, ceramics, and ceramics. It is a very broad term.
